Fulham FC V Sunderland: 2 - 0

A hot sticky night in West London, with a capacity crowd of over 20,000, with loud, houmourous support. We were entertained by more magnificence from Steed Malbranque, who I am sure will be one of the great discoveries of the season, along with great inter-play by John Collins, Bjarne, Alan Goma, Sean Davis, and a goal each from Barry Hayles and Saha, though I will admit they were both more by luck than design.

Rufus proved doubters that he can produce the goods in the premiership, can't wait to see Boa Morte when he returns. Lee clark was still injured and will look hard pushed to get a regular place with the simply brilliant Steed Malbranque. Bjarne run his socks off in support, and kept the pressure up. The whole misfiled worked well together, but there were periods when they Sunderland the mid-field battle and Sunderland could have taken the game. Phillips wasn't firing properly, and Niall Quinn didn't effect the game as much as he can.

In all, both sides performed well, and either side cold have taken it, but in the end the positive passing and play from Fulham provided the result. It was an entertaining game, thought the result wouldn't have pleased the Black Cats, they must have enjoyed the game itself.

We are currently 6th in the table with 3 from 6 points, goals 4 for and 3 against. This is the big time at last and I for one am loving it, loving it, loving it!
